Introduction

Portrait

The boy scouts of Triesenberg were founded 1969 by initiative from Prince Emanuel. Girl scouts also joined during the next few years. The official fusion of the boy and girl scouts happened in 1989 according to the national development.

Alongside many traditional activities, Triesenberg is the last Liechtenstein scout unit to collect the waste-paper in their municipality. They also stands out with innovative events like the day trip «Confoederatio Helvetica», where four Swiss cities are explored by train. The scouts of Triesenberg hand out blessed Easter Eggs after Easter vigil and offer mulled-wine after the midnight mass on Christmas Eve.

The annual Pentecost camp is usually held near by either in Pfrufatscheng, Malbun or Ruggell. The first rank often organises its summer camps with the scouts of Balzers and Triesen, while the second rank joins the unit Schaan/Planken.
